Interested in proposing a new course?

INSTITUTE  OF PROFESSIONAL MANAGERS is always looking for educational professionals who enjoy sharing their knowledge and creating memorable educational experiences. Part-time instructors are needed and new course applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Instructor credentials and requirements vary by program department.

IPM’s Continuing Education has four main program departments:

Most Continuing Education courses & certificate meet once or twice a week in the evening with the number of sessions varying depending on the class. Courses are usually weekday evenings or Saturday mornings on IPM HEADQUARTERS

IPM’s schedules courses 4 to 6 months in advance so there are only three-course proposal periods each year where new course applications are reviewed. Once new course applications are submitted, they are reviewed and responded to by the notification deadline. If a new course application is accepted, an interview will be scheduled. A teaching demonstration may also be requested.

Continuing Education instructors are employed on a part-time, as needed basis and are usually paid hourly for instruction. Instructors may not act as representatives of or for their place-of-business, and may not promote any products or services that they may sell, offer, design, or build. Handing out personal business cards to students while engaged in the act of teaching students, as a way of promoting oneself or business, is strictly forbidden.
